Born and raised in Central Queensland - my photography journey began at 14 when I picked up the family camera and never put it down.

Swapping small town for city life, I worked in the Brisbane IT industry for a decade. Though once the pandemic made itself a fixture in our lives, like many others, I realised that life is too short not to follow your heart! I decided to take the jump and chase the dream; launching Ellie Lawrence Photography.

I believe photographs should tell a story beyond simply posing for the camera, therefore I will work with you to create a warm and fun environment that you and yours can enjoy! If you choose to book a shoot with me, we’ll start things off with a phone call or a Zoom session to make proper introductions and get to know each other better - this helps things flow more naturally on the day. During the booking process, we’ll work together to plan the shoot location and talking through what the day will look like so you can go into the shoot as comfortable and as carefree as possible!

I find that the most authentic and candid moments are often caught when people are in an environment that is familiar and comfortable for them - therefore I offer shoots either in-home or on location, it’s entirely up to you!
